Search Community Mental Health Services is an adult Community Mental Health Program with funding provided by the Southwest Local Health Integration Network
We have provided services to the residents of West Middlesex County since 1979. Search is governed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors.
In 2002 we built the first Ministry of Health, fully funded mental health facility in Ontario. The 6400 square foot building houses offices, meeting rooms, an activity centre and a community kitchen. Search administers five programs: Information and Referral, Case Management, Counselling, Social Recreation and Mental Health Crisis Intervention. In addition, we provide Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Changeways, a Persuasion and Active Treatment Group and house staff from addiction services and children’s mental health.
Last year over 600 individuals received service and the agency provided over 12,000 face to face and telephone visits in the West Middlesex County area.
