World Suicide Prevention Day - Candle Light Vigil
September 10, 2010 is World Suicide Prevention Day.
This year Search will be taking the lead to help raise awareness and prevent suicide in our community.
On this day, Search Community Mental Health Services is hosting an Annual World Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness and prevent suicide from happening in our local Middlesex community. There will be a candle vigil at the Kenwick Mall parking lot in Strathroy, Ontario from 4:00-6:00pm to offer hope and light to all those effected by suicide. We encourage you to join together with us as we work towards preventing suicide in our community.
Suicide is a Social Issue-- one that calls for a Global Response. On Sept. 10th people from all over the world are lighting a candle in their window at 8:00 pm. Join our world in lighting a candle to:
Show Your Support for Suicide Prevention, to Remember a Lost Loved One, and for the Survivors of Suicide.
